What happens when a country completely abandons a moral and principled lifestyle and replaces it with a ‘feel good’ society? Look no farther than France, where a local town’s nudists are expressing shock at just how far south things have gone. The Telegraph reports : “Tensions in the town of Cap d’Agde, which is known as France’s “Naked City” thanks to its large nudist population, have risen after locals complained that the nudist quarter had been overrun by raunchy hotels and that children had been confronted with people indulging in sexual acts in public” Ah yes, the children of the nudists are being exposed to the depraved lifestyle of the free sex people. How in the world could this happen? And to the sweet, innocent nudists of all people. Could it be that France’s open distain for organized religion, and devotion to secularism (France is known as the most secular nation in Europe – and that’s saying something) have anything to do with this type of behavior? Ah, it’s probably just a coincidence. Oh, if you read the story from the Telegraph, make sure NOT to look at the picture. It only serves as further evidence that nudists are never the people you want to be nudists.

France: A case study in moral degradation
Because she’ll get her butt kicked. Readers will recall that I covered the GOP primary debate in the spring. Carly Fiorina is hot on the issues and totally polished. She doesn’t get flustered at all. Barbara Boxer agreed to one debate previously, and according to George Skelton, she came up short and she’s balking at another round. See, ” Fiorina Comes Out Ahead on TV “: Boxer, bidding for a fourth term, has never been confronted by an opponent quite like Fiorina. The only one who could match Fiorina’s communication skills was conservative TV commentator Bruce Herschensohn in Boxer’s first Senate election in 1992. But that was “the year of the woman,” an aggressive organizing effort by Democrats and a ticket led by Bill Clinton. This year, two women are running, Democrats seem unorganized, and Jerry Brown is no Clinton. Voters are cranky and it’s the year of the non-incumbent. This probably will be Boxer’s toughest race ever. Currently it’s considered a tossup despite the state’s Democratic tilt.
Hmmm : “In an effort to replicate the tea party's success, 170 liberal and civil rights groups are forming a coalition that they hope will match the movement's political energy and influence. They promise to “counter the tea party narrative” and help the progressive movement find its voice again after 18 months of foundering. The large-scale attempt at liberal unity, dubbed ' One Nation ,' will try to revive themes that energized the progressive grass roots two years ago.” Later in the story: “'Having been confronted with the specter of the tea party . . . we felt it urgent to organize the majority of this country, which voted in 2008 and has gone back to the couch,' said Benjamin Jealous, president of the NAACP. 'We've been split off in different directions.'” We are one nation! Except for those Tea Party folks who we describe as a “specter.” Noun : ” 1 :
