Tom Harkin said this concerning Medicaid: “We need some of you probably getting arrested for doing things you shouldn’t be doing.” Oh come on, Senator, only so many people can serve in Congress at any one time. Harkin never did say if the purpose of getting arrested would be to somehow make a point about Medicaid or to get health care in jail, but maybe he was “walking the talk” by trying to get himself arrested for subornation.
