“American Idol” invites Al Green , President Barack Obama on for a duet . NEWSWEEK: The scariest (photoshopped) photo of Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich ever… …and here they are in “Mortal Kombat.” Gingrich now supporting “9-9-9,” even though he has said it would take “too long” to implement. Sure to be a chart topper : “Hoot for Newt.” Tweet of the day (Fox News’ Eric Bolling , linking to this story ):

A year later DNC Chair blamed the Tea Party for the Tucson shootings … even though it’s been proven the shooter was not active in politics, is mentally unstable and has a history of alcoholism. A few weeks ago, in an interview with Gabrielle Giffords, ABC’s Diane Sawyer asked the congresswoman if Sarah Palin had called

There were 15 comments on my post from yesterday asking Blaze readers to describe what a Donald Trump endorsement would mean. The one word that kept coming up was “interesting” or some variation on it: “I think it would be interesting to see who he supports. But… it won’t affect my vote.”– OHIO4TEA “ His endorsement would be interesting but not sway me.”– BAKER JOHN “His endorsement doesn’t mean much to me but it would be interesting to see who he would back.”– MENSAMAN62 “…This is what will interest me, even though I will most likely not vote for Trump. His endorsement will not influence my vote either.”– NC “I think it would be interesting to hear who he thinks would be the best candidate and why… On the other hand, I certainly don’t see it having any effect on my vote.”– DRFROST For the purpose of this post, it looks like Trump might be right. People are waiting for his endorsement, if not “millions.” But in the eyes of many (most?) he’s just a celebrity, meaning he’s interesting but not particularly relevant in real world decision making.

It seems like just last week I was writing about Mitt Romney ‘s wife Ann saying she wouldn’t make “any statement…on a personal level” about Newt Gingrich ‘s past extramarital affairs, even though she kind of has been. Oh, it was last week . There’s a new ad from the Romney campaign narrated by Ann and you can’t help but wonder what she’s talking about when she says “[I]f you really want to know how a person will operate, look at how they’ve lived their life.” Especially when she says that over old photos of her and Mitt. Who could she possibly be speaking of? Watch the ad, titled “Character”:

ContributorNetwork – COMMENTARY | President Barack Obama decided to back away from his veto option over the spending bill even though it included wording moving the Keystone pipeline forward, according to Fox News. As a political consultant, I am discouraged by the fact the president backed down on his previous veto statements. He should have never made them in the first place.

FACT CHECK: GOP candidates get Obama policy wrong (AP)

On December 14, 2011, in Uncategorized, by LowekKohatsu683

AP – Republican presidential candidates have claimed that the Obama administration is cleansing government files of references to radical Islam, an assertion so juicy that politicians keep repeating it — even though it’s a wild exaggeration.

ContributorNetwork – COMMENTARY | I’ll admit it, even though it’s a little embarrassing nowadays. I used to be a Republican. And then I grew up. Here in the final year leading to election 2012, when the GOP could be bringing up real issues — or at least getting out of Ron Paul’s way — Republicans are doing little more than pandering to emotions, as shown in a report from the Associated Press.

ContributorNetwork – COMMENTARY | According to a report by Associated Press , even though President Barack Obama was only in the country for four hours, it was more than long enough to anger the legislators of Puerto Rico’s pro-statehood ruling party so much that one of them is heading to the United States to unleash her fury upon the ears of American Hispanic voters.

Hate speech banner?

On June 18, 2011, in Uncategorized, by Richard Riker

The article excerpted below was headed with the accusation that the banner illustrated above is “hate speech”, even though the banner said nothing about homosexuals at all. Apparently you are not allowed just to warn people about homosexual behavior; you have to hate homosexuals. I certainly don’t hate homosexuals. They’re

These kinds of stories are basically a daily occurrence nowadays. Saberpoint has a report: ” Soquel High School Students Suspended for Wearing White T Shirts (They’re Signs of “‘hite Supremacy’) “: Personally, I am at a loss as to how a white t shirt can endanger anyone’s safety. It is absurd that a school principal could suspend students for such a lame-ass reason, in effect, acting as judge, jury and executioner. It seems he has punished these students for “thought crimes,” even though he doesn’t know for sure what they were thinking. He punished them “just in case” they might do something wrong in the future, and that greatly offends my sense of justice. Mine too.
