Susan G. Komen Caves to Murderous Radical Left Abortion Industry

Personally, like Rush Limbaugh and Neal Boortz, I tend to avoid the abortion debate, mostly because it is not one of my core political interests. That said, watching Liberals go apoplectic, bat guano crazy, and spin like a neutron star is one of more core blogging interests, and this story has sent them over the

The first featured story on THE BLAZE’s front page this morning is an in-depth, investigative look at whether Michelle Obama spent $50,000 on lingerie in a single shopping spree, as a report in The Telegraph recently suggested. It was written with diligence by our editor in chief Scott Baker (and posted at 2:15 a.m). A sample: Here’s what we know.  The Telegraph claims Michelle Obama and {Queen of Qatar] Sheikha Mozah spent $50,000 on lingerie.  Here’s what we do not yet know — how much they each spent. The Queen might have spent $49,950.  I’m not sure what $50 buys you at Agent Provocateur, but maybe the First Lady walked out with just that! Check that — I just reviewed the most recent Agent Provocateur collection.  You cannot buy anything for $50. There is a $90 thong.  There’s also a $190 thong.  And a top that seems pretty intricate for $590. Baker ran into a lot of interesting things in his research . For example, something called a “playsuit” which Agent Provocateur sells for $24,000. There’s no photo in the post of said garment, but there’s a link to it and that’s the case for many of the things Baker mentions in his story. I really want to click the link because I really want to know what a “playsuit” is. But I can’t. Like much of THE BLAZE’s staff, I don’t work in an office. I work wherever I take my computer, which is usually a cafe of some sort in Washington, D.C. And I can’t bring myself to click a link to a “playsuit” when there’s a chance a stranger might see my screen and wonder any number of things. Baker assured me through instant message, however, that the link is SFC (suitable for cafes). And yet… I think I’ll save the story for when I’m home. Even if it means spending the rest of my evening with images of the first lady purchasing a “playsuit” running through my head. Follow me on Twitter at @eScarry .

The Politico’s Kenneth P. Vogel and Alexander Burns are surely going to earn an expletive laden call from the White House for publishing this story (Politico) Democrats have seized on Republicans as the party of unlimited secret money. The only problem: so are Democrats. In recent days, Obama released an ad blasting “secretive oil billionaires” for attacks on

The real lesson of South Carolina’s Saturday primary, and the story going forward from here, isn’t so much Newt Gingrich vs. Mitt Romney as it is the insurgents vs. the party establishment, Gerald F. Seib writes.

Dirty Politics in South Carolina

On January 21, 2012, in Uncategorized, by bt5iek

London’s Daily Mail has the story, ” Gingrich is latest victim of South Carolina’s ‘dirty tricks’ as fake email claims he forced ex-wife to have an abortion .” I saw the news earlier, on the allegations that Newt forced Marianne to abort a baby conceived during an affair prior to her marriage to Gingrich. I didn’t pay much notice, but Robert Stacy McCain, who’s on the ground in South Carolina, asked around about the story. It turns out that Will Folks, the same blogger who claimed to have had a sexual relationship with Governor Nikki Haley, is behind the smear. McCain blogged the story, and Folks smeared him as a Santorum-creaming flamer. See, ” Will Folks: Now His Sacred Honor Compels Him to Gay-Bait … Me? ”

This was attached to the end of a nauseating Boston Globe article celebrating the amorous relations between Occupy protesters: Editor’s note: This story about relationships that began during Occupy Boston featured a man, Robert Stitham, who is a registered sex offender, according to state records. Had his status been discovered during reporting, the story would not have been published. Oops. The Boston Herald called out the Globe for its lazy vetting: Looks like somebody forgot to Google. The Monday Boston Globe featured a photo on the front page of its Metro section of a lip-locked couple who “found romance” at Occupy Boston. “Holding hands outside the food tent before the encampment disbanded,” read the accompanying story, “they were the archetype of an Occupy couple: he, a red-headed Mainer with tattoos on his arms; she, a petite upstate New York girl with a heart-shaped face and a boyish haircut, wearing a knit grandmother sweater three sizes too big.” Good details — but the story failed to mention one big one: Robert “Red” Stitham, the 25 year-old beau whose relationship with Anya Karasik, 18, is the focus of the piece, is a Level 3 sex offender. A quick Google search of his name turns up his sex offender notification — complete with his photo — on the website of the police department in Plymouth, where Stitham grew up. A search on the state Sex Offender Registry Board website shows Stitham now lives in a homeless shelter in Boston. “The Board has determined that these individuals have a high risk to re-offend and that the degree of dangerousness posed to the public is such that a substantial public safety interest is served by active community notification,” the registry site reads. In 2007, a Barnstable County jury convicted Stitham of two counts of indecent assault and battery on a person over 14, and he was sentenced to 18 months with time served, court records state. Bias? What bias? Congrats, Boston Globe. You get the Honorary Fishwrap of Record Award.
